New devices for APPLE IIc

Our APPLE IIc is small computer but, it have some disadvantages,

My wish for APPLE IIc are

Sound card

Lack of sound. very same as APPLE II internal speaker just it has more a volume control.

There is a external sound, External mocking board Mockingboard D. but, it couldn't be 100% compatible with previous announced S/W.  if not compatible to old S/W, it has limited way of use.

CP/M card

Yes, there is a CP/M card and it is not common and rare item.

Few of APPLE II fans have chance to use CP/M system. 

Anyway, CP/M have yery interesting compatible development tools and languages.

And my new plans.

1) Sound card

I considered it several times, how can I build it on APPLE IIc.

There is no slot.

Hence, to make sound card, I need to make Slot signal from APPLE IIc board.

So, I decide to get some signals from CPU.

CPU have all of signal so, it could be good choice to get lines.

So, APPLE IIc can run Mocking board?

No, there is conflict with internal mouse.

Mouse located on C400 (Slot#4) so, it should be switched off.

If address switched off.. 

there is still a problem left.. the IRQ service.

I need to experiment about this IRQ then could decide what could I do for it.

2)Z80 card

Z80 is one of best CPU on 8bits computer system.

And APPLE II CP/M card (Softcard) was very famous in that time. I'm still have a Z80 card(Clone)

But, to apply it on APPLE IIc..I need to make slot signal and some more idea..

Anyway, I'm researching how to handle the z80 CPU by APPLE II.

New device is one of exciting project.

Keep watch me how do I build it.

Anyway, it may fail several times.. but, I'm not afraid it.
